2022 Quitline in Smoking Cessation for Youth Online International Conference
On October 20th, 2022, Changhua Christian Hospital was commissioned by the Health Promotion Administration (HPA) of MOHW to host the 2022 Quitline in Smoking Cessation for Youth Online International Conference on Oct. 20th. Renowned experts, such as Ms. Susann Koalick, the Chair of Global Network for Tobacco Free Healthcare Services (GNTH), Dr. Jintana Yunibhand, the Director of Thailand National Quitline, Dr. Kelvin Man-ping Wang, the Director of HKU Youth Quitline, and Dr. Nan-Ying Chiu, the Director of Taiwan National Quitline are invited to share experiences and best practices of tobacco prevention and control among adolescents, and Quitline in smoking cessation and the effectiveness for youth in Switzerland, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Through sharing and discussion with international speakers can strengthen the efficiency and impact of Quitline for young smokers. The conference attracted nearly 200 participants, joined online, actively interacted, and ended successfully.
