Calendar events-2015

  • Six nurses of Hong Ngoc General Hospital, Vietnam have finished three months short-term advanced training at Department of Nursing (Oct 24th, 2014 – Jan 14th).
  • Prof. Jaehee Lee of SAM Medical Center, Korea, called on CCH on Jan 23th.
  • Overseas Medical Mission Center, Institutional Review Board and International Medical Humanities and Health Sciences Academy were co-hosting the 2014 year-end party on Jan 29th evening.
  • The book ‘Simple Happiness: CCH Overseas Medical Mission’ has been published on Feb 3rd and distributed to library of colleges, governmental institutions and hospitals.
  • CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center, Dr. Nina was invited by Ministry of Foreign Affairs to join spring party on Feb 4th.
  • Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center and Mr. Tsan, Director of Human Resource Dept. were invited to interview on international medical service issue on Feb 11th by TaiShang International Media, which is Ministry of Health and Welfare project.
  • A 17-people of GS1 Japan study mission led by Prof. Chikayuki Ochiai of Tokyo Healthcare University visited CCH on Mar 3rd. The operation of NHI card and medical information system, current status of 2-D symbology at the hospital were introduced to the delegation.
  • CCH signed MOU with Chi Mei Foundation Hospital for international cooperation on Mar 3rd.
  • Overseas Medical Mission Center was co-organized with Taiwan AID on CSO Enabling Environment of Civil Society Workshop on Mar 16th.
  • CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center, Dr. Nina, was nominated as the commissioner of Gender Equality Committee of Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1st April 2015 to 31st March 2017.
  • Overseas Medical Mission Center was organized the lunch party on Apr 3rd for Taiwanese businessman in Vietnam.
  • Philipou, French, who works in China and Rani, Malasian, went to Center for Reproductive Medicine & Infertility in Changhua Christian Hospital to seek therapy of IVF.After the one-month therapy operating by Dr. Hung-The Tsai, the couple is now having their own child on Apr 3rd.
  • Tatung System Technologies Inc. Chairman of the board and his wife and executives visited CCH on Apr 6th.
  • Dr. Nina Kao Hsiao Ling, was invited to attend lunch party with Ms. Bodosh Mamyrova, Deputy Speaker of Supreme Council of Kyrgyzstan hosted by Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 16th.
  • The Overseas Medical Mission Center attended International Health Industry Diversified Forum held by Taiwan Non-government Hospital & Clinics Association, and participated the International Medical Poster Contest and won 2nd place in the facebook-voting stage and the Golden Prize (First Prize) in the final stage on May 29th.th.  
  • A medical volunteer team was dispatched to St. Lucia on Apr 25th for three weeks medical services.
  • Two medical personnel from Malaysia, Dr. Chuah Uei Chyi and Ms. Kong Siew Voon, came to CCH for short-term advanced training in Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery on April 28th.
  • Overseas Medical Mission Center co-organized with Taiwan AID on Global Citizenship Education: Concept and Approaches on May 9th.
  • Two medical volunteers of CCH with Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corps devoted disaster relief in Nepal on May 2nd to 10th. In the meanwhile, Overseas Medical Mission Center donated medicines and medical supplies to the long-term work on Nepal NGO, World Without Suffering Organization of Taiwan, on May 18th. 
  • A medical volunteer team was dispatched to St. Vincent on May 22nd for three weeks medical services.
  • Overseas Medical Mission Center attended international health industry diversified forum was hold by Taiwan Nongovernment Hospital & Clinics Association, and participate the international medical poster contest on May 29th.
  • Joint Commission of Taiwan invited the CEO and directors of hospital from abroad to visited CCH on June 2nd.
  • Overseas Medical Mission Center co-organized the “Human Rights-Based Approaches” workshop with Taiwan AID on June 5th.
  • Four medical personnel from St. Jude Hospital, St. Lucia came to CCH for one month short-term advanced training at Department of Nursing (June 12th - July 11th).
  • Dr. Harish Mithiran Muthiah from National University Hospital and Dr. Koh Puay Theng from National Cancer Centre, Singapore, came to CCH for short-term advanced training at Division of General Thoracic Surgery (June 15th -16th).
  • A medical volunteer team was dispatched to Papua New Guinea on June 20th for a twelve-day medical services.
  • Mr. August Hoel from University of Bergen, Norway, came to CCH for two months short-term internship training at Department of Metabolism, Department of Infectious Diseases and Department Cardiovascular Medicine (June 22rd - Aug. 3th).
  • Dr. Emil Osmonaliev from Kyrgyzstan came to CCH for two weeks short-term advanced training at Division of Urology (June 28th - July 11th).
  • Four medical personnel from General Hospital Darkhan, Ach Medical University and Uguumur Hospices, Mongolia, came to CCH for two weeks short-term advanced training at Department of Pediatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Gastroenterology & Hepatology (June 28th – July 11th).
  • Ms. Hsin Yu Chi from Poznan University of Medical Sciences, Poland, came to CCH for short-term internship training at Department of Emergency Medicine from July 6th to 31st.
  • A medical volunteer team was dispatched to Mongolia on July 25th for eight days medical service.
  • Three medical students from King’s College London Dental Institute came to CCH for one week short-term internship training at Department of Dentistry (July 24th - Aug. 1st).
  • A medical volunteer team will be dispatched to Darkhan City, Mongolia on July 25th for a eight-day services.
  • Ms. Chen Pei-Lin from Palacky University, Olomouc, came to CCH for short-term internship at Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology (Aug. 3rd - 21st).
  • Four medical personnel from St. Jude Hospital, St. Lucia, come to CCH for short-term advanced training at Department of Neurosurgery and diabetes tele-care center and Nursing (29th Aug. ~ 26th Sep.).
  • Four medical personnel from Angau Memorial Hospital and University of Papua New Guinea, Papua New Guinea, come to CCH for short-term advanced training at Department of Medical Imaging, Pathology and Nursing (29th Aug. ~ 26th Sep.).
  • Mr. Asquith Callistus Michael Ballah from Ministry of Health, Wellness & the Environment, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines come to CCH for short-term advanced training (29th Aug. ~ 26th Sep.) at Department of Information Systems.
  • Dr. Nina, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center, was invited to share the Nepal's Disaster Recovery Program at the sharing session of Taiwan Aid on 18th Sep.
  • A medical volunteer team was dispatched to Myanmar on Sept. 19th for eight days medical service.
  • Yodogawa Christian Hospital (YCH) visited CCH on September 30th. Dr. Kuo, Shou-Jen, the superintendent welcomed the nine delegation. And Dr. Nina Kao showed the guests around the hospital and took the guests to Lu Tung Christian Hospital, Yuan-Lin Christian Hospital and Yuan-Lin Logistic Center.
  • The Attorney General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Hon. Judith Jones-Morgan, and other 4 St. Vincent delegations visited CCH on October 1st. Dr. Chin-San Liu, the vice superintendent of CCH welcomed the delegations, and Dr. Nina Kao, the CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center, showed the guests around the hospital and briefed on the cooperation between CCH and Milton Cato Memorial General Hospital, SVG.
  • Changhua Christian Hospital donated beds, desks and stationery, delivered in a 40-feet container to the Myanmar NGO of Compassion In Action on 5th October.
  • CCH and Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, Indonesia have signed the MOU for international cooperation on 15th October, promoting co-operation in research and teaching activities. On the meanwhile, 5 medical students of this university came to CCH for three weeks short-term advanced training (15th Oct. ~ 8th Nov.) at Nurse Department.
  • A medical volunteer team was dispatched to Papua New Guinea on Oct. 17th for a eight-day medical services.
  • A medical volunteer is dispatched to St. Vincent on Nov. 15th for a three-week medical service. Dr. Nina, CEO of the Overseas Medical Mission Center, CCH and the CCH IT Technician were interviewed for the SVGHIS (St. Vincent and the Grenadines Health Information System) by the SVGTV NEWS. The interview was broadcasted on local TV channel and the internet.
  • A medical volunteer team was dispatched to Thailand on Dec. 15th for a eight-day medical services.
  • CCH Reward Friend of Foreign Service Medal on Dec 29th.
