In response to the rapid aging society of Thailand and the needs assessment in building up a dementia long-term care workforce as well as policy research. Though under the pandemic of COVID-19, Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) jointly works with the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine (DTAM), Ministry of Public Health of Thailand to arrange the " Online Courses for Day-care Staff Capacity Building on Dementia Long-term Care in Thailand ".
In this series online courses, there are 8 topics will be shared, including the Dementia Care Model, Assessment Tools, Evaluation Tools, Family and Community Supporting Group, Traditional Chinese Medicine Intervention, Dementia Day Care Center and Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine Intervention as well. The agenda is based on the long-term care workshop held in November of 2019 in Thailand and will introduce more details on practicing in long-term care facilities by lecturers from Dementia and Long-term Care Innovative e-Hospital, CCH and from DTAM as well. This series of video courses will be available on the official channel of Overseas Medical Mission Center, CCH on YouTube.The certificate will be issued by completing online courses, passing quiz and survey.
