CCH Participated in the Taiwan Smart Medical & HealthTech Expo (Geneva 2026)
From May 17 to 20, 2026, Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH), in support of Taiwan’s medical diplomacy initiatives led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW), participated in the Taiwan Smart Medical & HealthTech Expo held in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Nina Kao, CEO of the Overseas Medical Mission Center, represented CCH at the event. During the exhibition, Dr. Nina shared CCH’s achievements and experiences in specialty healthcare services, smart healthcare development, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in clinical care. She also visited local innovation centers to gain insights into emerging trends and innovative models in global healthcare technology.
The exhibition was officially inaugurated by Taiwan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Lin Chia-lung, and Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare, Dr. Shih Chung-liang. The event brought together more than 30 leading Taiwanese hospitals and smart healthcare enterprises, showcasing Taiwan’s strengths in healthcare innovation and digital health technologies. Through the collaborative efforts of the public and private sectors under the “Taiwan Healthcare and Public Health Team,” the exhibition highlighted Taiwan’s successful integration of advanced technologies and AI into healthcare and health-related industries. The event demonstrated Taiwan’s growing global competitiveness and influence in smart healthcare, digital health, and medical innovation.
