Achievements of Medical Industry Cooperation in New South Bound Countries - Amazing Thai

From 2018 to 2024, Changhua Christian Hospital responded to the Thai medical industry cooperation program through in-bond and out-bound activities to facilitate the relations between Taiwan and Thailand. CCH cooperated comprehensively with Thailand, including medical personnel training, medical industries forum, health awareness seminars, signing MOU with hospitals, public and private sectors, smart healthcare conference and business matching, smart healthcare demo-site, etc.(Englich)( Chinese)(Thai)

Taiwan and Thailand Smart Healthcare Conference

From December 2 to December 7, as part of the New Southbound Policy and the South Pacific Medical Cooperation Project, CCH welcomed a delegation of 30 esteemed guests from Thailand and Papua New Guinea. The delegation included representatives from Saint Louis University, Hua Chiew Hospital, Overbrook Hospital, Walailak University Hospital, Chunghwa Telecom Thailand, Chilltalke Company, Port of Moresby General Hospital, and Madang Hospital. The comprehensive program featured guided tours of CCH, YCH, ECH, and the Fangyuan Community Activity Center. Delegates also participated in the 2024 Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo, engaging in vibrant exchanges with Taiwanese manufacturers and exploring trends and partnership opportunities in Taiwan's smart healthcare sector. On November 22, CCH held the “2024 Taiwan and Thailand Smart Healthcare Conference”in Bangkok. The topic focus on Innovative medical technology in climate changing resilience, ESG, and sustainable healthcare. Professionals from Taiwan and Thailand were invited to share their experience. Dr. Kwo-Whei Lee, the Superintendent of Yuanlin Christian Hospital, shared the green and smart hospital management and ESG adaption in Yuanlin Christian Hospital, Dr. Nina Kao, CEO of Overseas Medical Mission Center, CCH, introdued the medical development and achievement of CCH in Thailand. Mr. Yi-Chin Tu, the founder of Taiwan AI Labs, shared the applications and future prospects of AI in climate change and sustainable development in the healthcare industry. Mr. Baren Hsieh, Managing Director, Imedtac (Thailand) Co., Ltd., shared Smart Healthcare Solutions in Thailand- Cases Sharing for Sustainable Healthcare and ESG. Study tour_Thailand , Laos, Indonesia & Somaliland

From May 13 to 17, to comply with the New Southbound Policy Program, Changhua Christian Hospital invited 28 distinguished guests from the Nursing Division of the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand, Saint Louis College, Phra Nang Klao Hospital, Saraburi Hospital, and the University Kusuma Husada Surakarta from Indonesia, to Taiwan for a study tour. All guests visited Smart Nursing Station, Yuanlin Christian Hospital, Dr. Jean Murray Landsborough Memorial Hospices Center, Memory Garden Dementia Care Center, Wellell Inc., and the 2024 Assistive Technology for Life. Through on-site observations and exchanges of experiences with medical professionals, the participants gained a deeper understanding of the potential opportunities and trends for medical cooperation between Taiwan and Thailand. The tour also included visits to Lungshan Temple, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Ximending, and Raohe Night Market, allowing distinguished guests to experience Taiwan's history, culture, and cuisine."(Click the link)

From August 14 to 19, to comply with the New Southbound Policy Program, Changhua Christian Hospital invited 21 distinguished guests from Overbrook Hospital, Nong Khai Wattana Hospital, North-Eastern Wattana Hospital of Thailand, Alliance International Medical Centre of Laos, Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta of Indonesia, and Dr. Edna Adan, Founder of Edna Adan University Hospital of Somaliland to Taiwan for a study tour. All guests visited Yuanlin Christian Hospital and Hiwin Technologies Corp. and were invited to the Power of AI for Revolutionizing Healthcare - Cases Sharing of AI in Clinical Applications. Through observations and exchanges of experiences with medical professionals and onsite smart technology companies, the participants gained a deeper understanding of artificial intelligence's power in Taiwan's medical field. Herbal Medicine Current Trends and Future Prospects

CCH cooperated with Chunghwa Telecom and Overbrook Hospital (OBH) to set up a telemedicine demonstration site at the OBH, MaeSai Clinic, and Chiangkhon Clinic to provide medical services to patients on the border between Thailand-Myanmar and Thailand-Laos, reducing the urban-rural gap and promoting medical equality.(English versionThai version)

Changhua Christian Hospital and Kusuma Hasadu University in Indonesia co-hosted an international online seminar titled "Enhancing Pharmacist Professional Competencies Through Current Traditional Medicine Practices."
