CCH and HTCH co-hosted the Online Seminar
On September 25th, 2020, Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) was invited by Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital (HTCH) and Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines to co-host the online seminar on “COVID-19 Prevention in Taiwan-Controlling the Wildfire: Prevention & Management of COVID-19 Pandemic in Taiwan”. This seminar attracted around 150 participants to join and interact with two infection control specialists, Dr. Soon-Hian Teh from Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital, and Dr. Chun-Eng Liu from CCH. Both speakers share the hospital prevention strategy and clinic care and treatment for COVID-19 patients. Amb. Michael Pei-Yung Hsu from the TECO in the Philippines was invited to give an opening remark. The former Philippine Minister of Health Dr. Enrique Ona was invited to share the Philippines' pandemic prevention strategy. At the end of the seminar, Dr. Ona acknowledged that Taiwan selflessness to donate epidemic prevention medical materials such as PPE and face masks and said this is a great opportunity to learn Taiwan's experience in epidemic prevention via the online seminar.
