Dr. Lee Roy Chun of CIER Shared “The Likely Economic Impact of COVID-19 on Global and Southeast Asia Countries”
On April 30th, Dr. Lee Roy Chun, Deputy Director of Taiwan WTO and RTA Center, Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER), shared “The Likely Economic Impact of COVID-19 on Global and Southeast Asia Countries” via webinar APP. His talk focused on how COVID-19 pandemic caused the impact on economic growth in southeast Asia and how we responded the crisis. After Dr. Lee’s presentation, there are three reactors, Mr. Adisorn, Chairman of Federation of Thailand Industries, Ms. Syakella, Director of Investment Division , Malaysian Friendship and Trade Centre in Taipei, and Prof. Macaranas , Asian Institute of Management in Philippines shared their opinions and feedback for the topic. Around 200 participants from medical and public health sectors including Thailand, Myanmar, Japan, Indonesia, Mongolia, Philippines, Vietnam, PNG, Nepal, and Malaysia were invited to join.
