CCH continues to support remote hospitals in Laos
CCH continues to collaborate with AMATA in Thai to support the remote hospitals in Laos. CCH started working with AMATA in 2019 to build the capacity of rural area hospitals in Laos, including medical personnel training and equipment donation. In 2020, even during the COVID-19 crisis, CCH and AMATA decided to continue supporting this program and donate a 40-ft container to Luang Namtha Province Hospital and Namor District Hospital to strengthen the hospital functions and improve the quality of care. The container has been delivered to both hospitals in mid-April and acknowledged by the hospital directors as well.
